Refund Policy
This page explains our policy in plain English. It isn't legal advice.
If something went wrong with your check, we'll make it right. Here's how refunds work.
How to ask
Send us a message with your payment reference (it starts with cs_live_ and is on your Stripe receipt) and a short note about what happened. We usually reply within 1 business day.
When you get a full refund or a free re-run
You choose which one you'd prefer if:
- the mailbox check didn't run or didn't finish;
- you were charged but never got your results;
- you were charged twice for the same check.
If the mailbox check can't run or doesn't finish, the balance for that check is also restored automatically, so you can simply run it again.
Lost balance
Your balance is saved in the browser you paid in. If you cleared your browser data or moved to a new computer, email us your Stripe receipt and we'll restore the balance or refund the unused part.
What isn't refundable
- A completed check, just because the results showed many Risky, Unknown or Invalid addresses. Finding those is what the check is for.
- Unused balance after 30 days.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. They usually show up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
